Pet Sematary
Unpublished works

“I don’t want to be buried in a Pet Sematary” sang the Ramones in 1989 in their title track for the film of the same name. Design projects are like pets that demand your full attention. They need love, care and devotion, especially during the phases of intensive engagement with a task. Both the loss of a pet and the end of a design project require saying goodbye.

When you lose a pet, you have to say goodbye to a beloved companion. In a design project, this can mean parting with an idea, a concept or a creative vision that you have invested a lot of time and effort in. “Pet Sematary” shows works from 2022 that were never realised for a variety of reasons. A cemetery for cuddly toys.
