TOKYO BENTO
Six months, six zines. An ongoing exploration of everyday urban life in Tokyo between April and September 2026.
The series focuses on overlooked details and visual traces:
details and interventions in public space (Tape Town, Reading Tokyo), urban typography seen beyond its message, as visual form (Letter Forms), and the city’s margins, vacant sites and in-between spaces (Tokyo Zombie).
Two further zines shift towards personal experience: After Dark follows Tokyo’s live music scene, while Tree Spotting traces a recurring encounter with the Tokyo Skytree.
Together, the six publications form a subjective archive of fragments, repetitions and incidental discoveries.
Edition of six zines in a polystyrene sushi container.
